Rockville, North Potomac & Gaithersburg- Montgomery County, MD

The cities and township of Rockville, Gaithersburg and Potomac originated as Washingtonians sought to escape the confines of the nation’s capitol. The desirability to live in this section of Montgomery County is due to its proximity to Washington DC; Rockville is situated just 12 miles north of Washington, D.C. and approximately 35 miles southwest of Baltimore. With the growth of neo-traditional communities in Rockville, Gaithersburg and North Potomac such as King Farm, Fallsgrove, The Kentlands, Lakelands and Traville Gateway; neighborhoods now provide space for living, working, shopping and recreation.Residents often escape to nature and enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking and picnicking at Glen Echo Park, C&O Canal National Historical Park Great Falls and Seneca Creek State Park.
